Debate on the opinion of Venice/ Peleshi criticizes the DP's approach

The opinion of the Venice Commission regarding the mandate of Olta Xhaçka, became the subject of debate in the Assembly. The heads of the parliamentary groups of SP and DP, Niko Peleshi and Gazment Bardhi, had replies in today's plenary session.

Peleshi criticized the DP's approach to the plenary sessions that seek to turn them into political trials. Further, Bardhi said that PD will denounce the thieves who steal public property by name, since the majority is throwing the decisions of the Constitutional Court in the bin according to him.

Minister Peleshi emphasized that the majority respects parliamentary autonomy and the decisions of the Constitutional Court.

Deputy Gazment Bardhi accused the majority of manipulations and avoiding full compliance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court, mentioning the case of deputy Olta Xhaçka.

On the other hand, Taulant Balla rejected the opposition's accusations regarding the interpretation of the opinion of the Venice Commission and the decisions of the Constitutional Court on the issue of the mandate of Olta Xhaçka.

According to Balla, the opposition manipulates public opinion by turning every defeat into a pretended victory.
