Boçi, the SP's "pin": The Administrative-Territorial

Luçiano Boçi, vice president of the Democratic Party and co-chair of the Commission for Administrative-Territorial Reform, was part of the hearing held today in Fier.

In his speech, Boçi focused on the role of the Fier District as the largest in terms of demographics, but also on the involvement of citizens in this process.

The Democrat accused that this reform cannot be carried out by the government office, but through cooperation with political parties, including the opposition.

"I like the word 'together', but not with the SP, as we are in clearly defined positions. Each party has its own precise positions in relation to a very important reform such as the Territorial Reform. We are in the Fier Region, a territory with a large demographic, agricultural, industrial, cultural existence. We should include the opinions of citizens in the part of the conclusions of the reform that must be consensual. It must also consider the requests of political parties, including the DP. It cannot be implemented by the government in its offices nor a predetermined political decision. This reform, even technically, cannot be built only by a commission that truly has a political and expert composition, but the opinions of citizens should also be considered and be part of the final step of the work on this reform", - said Boçi. /CNA
