The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was asked this afternoon if he will cooperate with Prime Minister Edi Rama. Meta said in the show "Contrast" that there will be no more collaborations with Rama.

"It is certain that there will be no more cooperation with Edi Rama. A man who violates the national interest repeatedly. My battle has just begun on July 25. We came to the forefront of the battle to restore democracy and to gave Albania the right direction. Albanians know where Rama will be," he stressed.

Pra papritur bashkëpunëtori me të cilin thuri plane e politika, që punuan për 4 vite për të mirën e kombit kokë më kokë, është shndërruar në një "tradhtar kombi" para syve të Metës. Në fakt, nuk kanë kaluar shumë kohë që kur Meta shprehej se me Ramën ka bashkëpunuar për interesin e kombit shqiptar.

“Unë kam qenë, jam dhe do mbetem në shërbim të popullit dhe Republikës së Shqipërisë. Çdo raport, çdo marrëveshje që kam pasur në të kaluarën ka qenë e hapur dhe në shërbim të integrimit evropian të Shqipërisë”, deklaronte Meta në maj të këtij viti.

Por ajo që nuk na shpjegon ish-presidenti është se edhe më parë ka siguruar shqiptarët për mospasjen e një bashkëpunimi, kur në të vërtetë koha ka vërtetuar se përtej deklaratave në televizione, bashkëpunime ka pasur. Duket ironike, por kështu justifikohet kjo "betejë" e re Metës së PL-së.
