Berisha commemorates the uprising of Postriba

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, commemorated the Postriba uprising today.

"It is a great honor for me to greet you cordially, to humble myself with the deepest respect, the most boundless gratitude before the freedom fighters of Postriba and Shkodra, who 76 years ago decided to respond with armed resistance, with an uprising, a barbaric invasion that would be installed in Albania on November 28, 1944", said Berisha.

According to him, this invasion for the Albanians was double in those years, as it was an invasion to establish the communist dictatorship of Enver Hoxha.

“Dhe unë u rikujtoj ju këtu, u rikujtoj shqiptarëve se vrasësi, seria që komandoi hordhitë partizane në Shkodër dhe veri, Mehmet Shehu, do t'i shkruante Enver Hoxhës: se në kufirin ushtarak, Shkodrën e vendosëm nën pushtim. Ai thotë një të vërtetë të pamohueshme. Të tillë pushtim e konsideruan qytetarët e Shkodrës, banorët e Postribës dhe veriut në tërësi.

Krahas këtij pushtimi, Shkodra dhe Shqipëria ishin në një pushtim të dytë. At Zef Pëllumbi përshkruan 28 nëntorin me ndërrimin e simboleve. U hoq flamuri kombëtar dhe u vendos flamuri jugosllav. E vërteta është se në Shkodër u vendosën zyrat e shërbimit famëkeq jugosllav, që grabiste dhe zhdukte nacionalistët e Shkodrës dhe të veriut, i bindur se ata nuk do të pranonin pushtimin serb, barbar të Shqipërisë.
