The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama during a meeting in Këlcyra, where he presented the candidate of the coalition "We win together".

Berisha said that Rama started his career as prime minister after an accusation in an international report that he has 200 million euros hidden in offshore accounts.

He stated that in 10 years of governance, the prime minister has only thought about his own enrichment.

"Albanians, from a patriotic nation that stayed in their lands for centuries and millennia, are turning into a guest nation in other lands, but also a guest in their lands, in the sense that all the great potentials of their country have turned into a forbidden apple, a curse for the residents of Këlcyra and all of Albania.

This is because in 10 years, the one who leads the government did not think about the livelihood of the citizens, he thought only about his enrichment, only about his power. Edi Rama started his career as prime minister after an accusation in an international report that he has 200 million euros hidden in offshore accounts.

What happened these eight years to us? Instead of having an economic improvement, a better situation from year to year, the economic difficulty kept increasing because Edi Rama froze salaries. There is no more heartless act a prime minister can do than freezing salaries and pensions.

According to independent economists, every Albanian has spent 430,000 ALL more on food due to the increase in prices. So, every Albanian has lost one more salary in food alone. Each pensioner has lost two pensions.

Prices were raised in other countries as well, but other governments returned the money collected from price increases to citizens. Kosovo increased pensions by 100 euros, 100 euros were given to students, 120 euros were given to employees. And this one, the money he collected, 520 million euros from the increase in prices, he divided for his own luxuries and his clientele", emphasized Berisha.
