Berisha: This is how Basha deceived me in the State Department

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, threw accusations at Lulzim Basha, as he spoke about the "non-grata" sanction imposed on him by the USA.

Berisha said that Basha had presented himself as his puppet to the US State Department.

According to him, Basha had cheated and declared that every decision he had taken had been dictated to him by Sali Berisha.

"But that was not true, I had an attitude: I did not intervene in any case, unless I was asked. Basha had presented himself as my puppet. He was one of those people who had declared in the State Department and the Embassy that Sali Berisha was the person who had dictated all the decisions", the former prime minister emphasized. / CNA
