The economic expert, Enriko Ceko, in an interview for CNA , spoke about the establishment of the living minimum in Albania .

Ceko said that no government has had the courage to do it, as it cannot provide every Albanian with the appropriate monthly monetary payment.

"Let's assume that Albania needs a living minimum and a minimum wage. Who is that government that has the right to provide all Albanians with the minimum living wage and the minimum wage? They don't know how to make money. If they "think twice" they will make the Albanians to have an income of 30 thousand dollars per capita for at least the next 8 or 10 years. There is no philosophy, but here either they have no idea or they are not needed. We have 4 types of policies. They are neither, they do not encourage, they do not hinder. There are policies that hinder, do not let you develop. There are very restrictive policies, with very high taxes for a certain class. There are also incentive policies and very incentive policies for those sectors that need a lot of help, so that they return a lot of money to the State Budget. That's why I say that 1 billion dollars are needed for agriculture", he emphasized.
