On the eve of the 111th anniversary of Independence, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, organized a reception at the Palace of Brigades with Albanians from all over the world.

In his speech, Veliaj announced that he has financed the construction of two schools in Preševo ??and Bujanovc.

He stated that the financing of the schools was approved by the municipal council, while he emphasized that the construction of the park "Shqipëria" in the municipality of Tuzi will also be financed.

"The Municipal Council just approved the financing of the "Dituria" school in Presheva and the "Naim Frashëri" school in Bujanovc. The municipality of Tirana just approved the construction of the park "Alhqiperia" in the municipality of Tuzi, as a contribution of a Tirana, which is no longer the Tirana that many people left behind in the 90s, and which begged more than it did, but that today it is a Tirana that does, it is a Tirana that gives more than it takes, because today we have the opportunities of a modern city that has the heart to do good and to contribute where our mayors are, where our language is spoken and where where our children in those schools, now young and beautiful, will learn our most beautiful language, Albanian", underlined the mayor of Tirana, among other things. 

He was proud of the fanatical defense of the cult of the homeland of every Albanian compatriot.

Present at the official reception were representatives of the Albanian government, that of Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, representatives of the Union of Municipalities of Albania, Arbëresh municipalities, members of the diplomatic corps, public figures and artists./ CNA
