Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to insist on the non-establishment of 8 investigative commissions requested by the opposition.

In a conference with journalists, Rama said that the Assembly sets up investigative commissions within the constitutional framework.

He claimed that the commissions requested by the opposition are not within these frameworks and are based on rumors that the opposition has raised itself.

"The manner of setting up investigative commissions has been clearly decided by the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court could not have announced unconstitutional investigative commissions, which means the Assembly was wrong. When the Assembly sets up an investigative commission, it must set it up within a constitutional framework. You can't set up commissions of inquiry on rumors you've started yourself", emphasized the head of the government./ CNA
