Former president Bamir Topi has analyzed the reappearance on stage of Lulzim Basha, who had left politics for months.

Topi said that Basha's meeting with the FRPD youth heralds his return.

"His move is unannounced. But based on my experience, I don't think that such an exit is not a sign. That exit warns of something, they warn of a return", he said.

However, the former Head of State declared in an interview with Marsela Karapanço that Basha cannot return without having a "head-to-head" debate with the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

"There cannot be a comeback without starting a "head-to-head" debate between Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha. It is not said that the debate should be held in the studio, it can also be held remotely," Topi emphasized./ CNA.al
