The Assembly of Albania has approved in the late hours of the evening that it passed the law for the remission of unpaid fines in rural and urban areas for constructions without permission established from January 1, 2015 to November 30, 2024.
This law was approved with 73 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.
Also, the fines for violating the rules during the pandemic and of the AKU for agricultural and livestock subjects in the village, in this period.
The amendment of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party for the cancellation of arrears was also rejected.
There were fierce debates and tensions in the Assembly between the opposition and the majority on many issues. There were also accusations between MPs and ministers.
There was also a tense situation between Flamur Noka and Agron Shehaj. The latter blocked the pulpit and was taken out of the hall by the Republic Guard after the clashes with Noka./ CNA
