Amid the chaos, the 2025 budget for the Municipality of Shkodra is approved

Shkodër Municipality Council approved the 2025 budget only with majority votes and in a chaotic situation.

The reason for this situation was the end of the speech of the mayor Benet Beci who presented the main pillars of the budget and the decision not to give the floor to the opposition councilors immediately after it, on the part of the council chairman.

The elected members of the opposition, not agreeing with this decision, came to the main floor, which brought about the interruption of the meeting the first time, and then in the second, the vote was taken without elaborating the budget in detail.

Under these conditions, the head of the council invited the majority by voting the 2025 budget of Shkodër municipality without any discussion. As the opposition shouted "Party Enver, we are ready whenever", referring to the communist system./ CNA
