Ambasadorja e SHBA-së në Tiranë, Yuri Kim, ka reaguar pa takimit të kryeministrit Edi Rama me zëvendëspresidentin e Komisionit Europian, Jospeh Borrell dhe komisionerin europian, Oliver Varhelyi.

Me anë të një statusi në rrjetet sociale, Kim deklaron se ndihet mirë kur shikon përparimin e Shqipërisë për tu anëtarësuar në BE.

Diplomatja amerikane thekson se qytetarët dhe qeveria shqiptare meritojnë respekt, pasi kanë kryer ndryshime të vështira deri tani. 

“Kënaqësi të shoh se Shqipëria po bën lëvizje përpara në rrugën e saj drejt anëtarësimit në BE. Qytetarët dhe qeveria shqiptare meritojnë respekt për kryerjen e ndryshimeve të vështira deri tani. SHBA do të vazhdojë të mbështesë fuqishëm përparimin e Shqipërisë për t'u bërë Shtet Anëtar në BE, duke përfshirë përpjekjet për të zbatuar reformat e nevojshme”, shkruan ajo./ CNA.al
