Electoral activities/ DP denounces the mayor of Maliq to SPAK

The Democratic Party has denounced the mayor of Maliq, Gëzim Topçiu, to SPAK for several electoral activities, such as asphalt, tenders or employment.

In a statement to the media, the political leader of the DP for the Korça region, Ivi Kaso, said that these activities carried out by Topçiu influence the result in favor of the Socialist Party.

Further in his statement, Kaso hoped that no one would dare to use state resources to obtain electoral results.

 

" The Democratic Party denounces to SPAK, Gëzim Topçiu, the mayor of Maliq Municipality, for illegal activities such as electoral asphalt, electoral tenders, electoral employment. All these activities are prohibited by law, by the electoral code, by the penal code, as they attempt to influence the electoral result in favor of the Socialist Party. All those local mayors who think they can exercise their power to guarantee the electoral result of the Socialist Party have made the wrong calculations. They have done it without the citizens, without considering the law. The Democratic Party is on its feet and is monitoring any of their illegal behavior, which it will refer to their justice bodies, as it does every day, so that no one dares to use state resources to obtain the electoral result. The citizens of Maliq, the citizens of all municipalities in the Korça district, have it in their own hands to remove the noose that was "On May 11, I invite everyone who votes for number 1 to vote for the Alliance for a Greater Albania, thus voting for themselves and for the future of their children ," said Kaso./ CNA
