Completion of the Shëngjin-Velipoja axis/ Rama: Reveals a rare touristic

Prime Minister Edi Rama was in a meeting today, where he inspected the Shëngjin-Velipoja axis. Rama also continued with a conversation with business representatives, with whom he discussed topics on the national and local economy.

Rama started the inspection with a joke.

"I am in a big dilemma: will Europe come from Lezha or from Shëngjin?" Rama said.

The Prime Minister stated that this axis is part of a new investment and project.

"These are new investments. We will do these projects together," said Rama.

In his speech, Rama said that the completion of this axis is a relief, as it offers Albanians and tourists the opportunity to discover a part of the country that they previously found difficult to explore.

"The completion of this road is a sign of relief. This reveals to Albanians and tourists a part of the country that was previously inaccessible. We add other income to the national economy. I am very optimistic about the stock of new projects. They are projects of another generation. It is a unique group of architects. This type of infrastructure is needed. Income will then increase, as will the opportunity. Aim for maximum quality in terms of new developments in this field", said Rama. /CNA
