"A true criminal act"/ Berisha: Journalist was attacked in protest

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, regarding the threat against journalist Osman Stafa during the protest held yesterday against the government.

Berisha stated at the media conference that the journalist was attacked by a couple because of his duty.

He added that he strongly condemns the attack and that according to him, this was ordered by the government, which according to him is putting pressure on protest exponents.

The leading democrat emphasizes that every journalist should be free to say what they think.

"A real criminal act was committed yesterday against journalist Osman Stafa. He is a courageous journalist who has faced the most dangerous mafia, that of the white shirts. Edi Rama and his minister left patients without medicine. These days journalist Osman Stada has been giving speeches in protest representing himself and his fight against the state mafia. Yesterday a couple connected to power, one of whom has a dark past glorified evil where he worked, approached the journalist and attacked him brutally and hit him because of his duty. They physically harmed him not only for his words in protest but also for the role he played against the drug mafia. I condemn with the greatest force this act ordered by the criminal sectors of this state and Edi Rama. Pressure is being exerted on exponents of the protest. I condemn with the greatest force the brutal aggression against Osman Stafa, and I tell Edi Rama that you will bear the greatest responsibility. every journalist must be free to say what he thinks ," Berisha said. /CNA
