VIDEO-Movie-like chase ends in accident/ Wanted man crashes into 4 cars, manages to escape

A wanted person was involved in a road accident on Monday afternoon near the fruit and vegetable market in the city of Durrës, during a pursuit by police forces.

According to preliminary information, the suspect was attempting to evade arrest when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into four other vehicles in traffic. The accident only caused material damage.

Immediately after the collision, the person abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, temporarily escaping capture by police.

Law enforcement has set up checkpoints in the area and is continuing the search for his identification and arrest. In the meantime, the full circumstances of the incident and the manner in which the pursuit took place are also being investigated./ CNA
