"He stole the country's assets"/ Këlliçi accuses

Democratic MP, Belind Këlliçi, today leveled accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Këlliçi said on "Syri TV" that Rama has used the Albanian state for personal interests, while also adding that the head of government has plundered the country's assets.

According to the MP, Rama has proven this abuse of the prime minister's office through data from personal trips, private planes, personal galleries where he exhibits his paintings abroad, and expensive tickets to watch basketball games.

"I invite all those who perhaps do not like the DP, perhaps have criticism of the opposition and all, to come in and find a politician, a prime minister like Edi Rama. A man who insults women, who insults young people, who insults his own citizens, bullies, is sexist, has a very, very exclusive, arrogant language. And he continues to behave as if he is the pasha of this country, as if he is the owner of this country. And he forgets that in fact this is a man who has really stolen the votes of the Albanian citizens, but that he is there to serve the Albanian citizens, in that chair he has. Not to use it as a private property. Which in fact with his entire record he has shown, whether with personal trips on a private plane, whether when he goes to see the most expensive shows in the world, whether when he goes to watch basketball games that cost 22 thousand dollars a ticket to sit, whether when he opens undeclared personal galleries in Rome, in Tokyo, in "Shanghai and everywhere in the world. This individual uses the Albanian state for personal interests and has robbed it like the assets of a politician in the history of this country," said Këlliçi. /CNA
