Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha said today that a 20-story hotel in Tirana, built from thefts committed by three directors of the Tirana Municipality, will not be confiscated because its shareholders are the Prime Minister's brother, Olsi Rama, and the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

According to Berisha, this is just one of the obvious acts, as it is still not known where the Albanians' money has gone during the 12 years of socialist rule.

"The 20-story glass hotel of Tirana's directors is not confiscated, because Olsi Rama and Erion Veliaj are shareholders there. This is just a small thing that seems. Just imagine where the billions and billions stolen in 12 years have gone. For one thing, in 12 years, Edi Rama has had 67 billion euros of your taxes in his hands. That they doubled the taxes. Absolutely, apart from salaries, 90 to 100 percent of them have been stolen by the government and its own clans. There has never been in Albania, I tell you and I tell you with pain, there have been no more ruthless leaders, there have been no bloodthirsty leaders like these today", said Berisha./CNA
