"70% of new buildings, unsold"/ Shehaj warns of a crisis in the

Brisida Shehaj, the National Coordinator of the War against Corruption in the Freedom Party, has warned of a crisis in the construction sector.

Shehaj said on Syri TV that 70% of the new buildings built in recent years in Tirana have not been sold.

According to her, this statistic came from a report of the Bank of Albania for the year 2021.

She declared that Albania is heading towards a crisis in the construction sector, as happened in America or Palermo.

“Nuk shoh logjikë investimi, që të mendosh se biznesmenët shqiptarë, bashkia, shteti, ka bërë një plan biznesi të zhvillimit të Tiranës. Ngado të rrotullohemi është thjesht pastrim parash.
