"May 11 was a disappointment"/ Muçollari: Rama and the SP used

The Democratic Party's candidate for Tirana, Grigels Muçollari, commented today on the results of the May 11 elections. Invited to 'Syri Tv', Muçollari said that the process was a well-thought-out operation for a long time and described it as a disappointing moment.

Muçollari accused that the state was put at the service of the Socialist Party, to be used illegally to obtain votes.

He further added that May 11 was a moment where a contract was made between organized crime and the government on election day.

"May 11 in my comment was a disappointing moment, but not surprising. For all of us who had been talking about something happening and the government's attempts to manipulate the right to choose. Or more precisely, to prohibit the right to judge citizens. So it was a well-thought-out operation for a long time, it was a moment that I personally did not expect to be so strong, so total, so usurping. I thought there would be moments of light, but apparently the state apparatus has functioned...maybe it got out of control, I don't know how to say this part.

Perhaps at a certain point, the opposition spirit created a moment of panic and they tried to control it even more. But I am convinced that before May 11, they had taken care that change did not happen and change was forbidden. There was no way that change could happen, despite a program of the Democratic Party that focused on the face, content and substance of the citizen.

So, in this respect, after May 11, I see with some composure the use of an entire state, of an entire state machinery, which was put under the function of the Socialist Party. But not only that, because beyond that, we saw very well how all public assets, all public opportunities that the sovereign had given you, were used illegally to get votes.

Beyond this, we also saw the non-public assets, which were the criminal gangs. It is a very big failure of society. As always, they took the next anonymity. As are the cases of Durrës, Elbasan, etc. Today they are represented again in Parliament.
