"I feel responsible for what happened in Fier"/ Baçi: We must

DP MP Luan Baçi has stated that he feels responsible for the defeat in Fier.

During an interview, Baci emphasized that reflection and internal analysis are needed to understand the factors that influenced this result.

"The closed list of the DP was a selection that was based on the membership vote, through the primaries process, taking into account the geographical representation and the characteristics of each area. There was an internal logic to the way it was built. But it is true that many candidates on the open list, who were highly voted for, were harmed due to manipulations, their votes were stolen.

Everyone who was part of that campaign, both on the closed and open list, bears their own responsibility for the outcome. Personally, I feel bad and responsible for what happened in Fier.

"This is a period that will take its time to do the proper analysis. We must find the internal reasons that influenced this result, and help rebuild the party on stronger and fairer foundations," said Baci./ CNA
