The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Niko Peleshi, delivered his speech in Parliament after the resumption of proceedings following the May 11 elections.

Peleshi was thanking the voters, while opposition MPs were laughing at his words.

Peleshi told the latter that they had no reason to laugh because they were in Parliament and not in a circus.

 

" As a parliamentary group, we agree to resume work after a successful campaign, above all for Albanians. It is no laughing matter that we are in Parliament, we are not in a circus. We have many reasons to seek discussions outside the agenda because we have many reasons, many thanks for all Albanians, but this is not the moment. We will have several intensive sessions until the beginning of July ," said Peleshi.
