Maybe someone may find the title pathetic or perhaps even excessive the title I have chosen to dedicate to a friend and a colleague, with whom not only political commitment brought us together here thirty or so years ago, but, I am convinced that all those who know Professor Ethem Ruka, all those who have worked with him, all those who have learned from him when he was a pupil or student, or others, who have learned from him because have or continue to have a pedagogue, colleagues in science, but also those in politics, without separating the latter from their party affiliation, will give me the right.

Because, Ethem Ruka is really a citizen and intellectual committed with great dedication and devotion to serve the people, to serve the country.

Si pedagog në Fakuktetin e Shkencave Natyrore të Universitetit të Tiranës, e mandej edhe si shkencëtar i diplomuar në një nga universitetet më të famshëm të Parisit, në universitetit "Pierre et Marie Cyrie", me kontributet pedagogjike e shkencore që sot përmblidhen në mbi 160 tituj veprash të botuara, apo edhe me angazhimin politik në momentet më të vështira që kalonte vendi në kapërcyell të sistemeve, Ethem Ruka ka shënjuar gjurmë që atë padyshim e bëjnë krenar.
