Who took the Tourism money?!

10 million tourists in 2023! - the news broke for all Albanians!

Tens of thousands of Italians, Poles, Germans, French, Norwegians, Spaniards, Macedonians, Serbs and other nations flooded Rinas airport or other border points to be amazed by the Albanian Maldives.

10 million tourists if they have spent €400 on average per head is €4 billion!

Or about 2,000 euros per capita. So a family of three (like my family) will have won 6 thousand Euros!

But, in fact, not only have I not seen a grain of euro from this Albanian tourism Eldorado, but I have also spent 1.2 thousand Euros for some 5 days that I went to Porto Palermo and Borsh that I regretted 500 times that I went!

Then who got these 4 billion euros of 10 million tourists?

Yau I say. I'll start with Chet. Most of these tourists (according to published statistics - 7 million tourists) arrived from Rinas. Thus, as if Çeti received €10/tourist, they say a good €70 million. So much so that he bought the Airport for 16 years.

The rest are luxury hotels spread from south to north. Local businessmen who exploit teenage children with symbolic wages have privatized every beautiful corner of the coast , every dream retreat where we could once go with bread, cheese and tomatoes, light fires and sing serenades at night . Today, such beaches (Gjipe, for example) can be counted on the fingers of the hand until the "strategic investors" come and drive us away with a racist beam.

This small handful of people took the lion's share of this tourism cake. Of course, restaurant owners, shopkeepers and residents of the area who rented out their houses also took a bite, but even these are not that many. There are a total of a handful of southern villages that got the cake crumbs, some increase in turnover in stores. That's it.

But 95% of Albanians earned absolutely nothing except for spending their annual savings on second-rate hotels and beaches, and we added to the income of the 5% beneficiaries.

That's why I feel sick every time I see the empty inflatables with 10 million tourists and 4 billion Euros in revenue. The same people who occupied our public beach shared that money with each other.

The public property, the beach of Palasa, Dhërmi, Jala, Saranda, Dhërmi are with beams and guards. They stop us from entering and expect us to enjoy their colossal profits in the name of increased tourism?! Never in the world!

This is a galloping increase in the theft of public property with the blessing of the government and the people.
