The two campaigns

It is very strange what is happening in this campaign.
Edi Rama has been a master of electoral campaigns. Among the rare ones who packaged and sold anything to win the elections.
But this time he is making fatal blunders. Not pencil-thin, but blunders and even everyday ones.
He started on the first day with a blunder. That tallavaja in the center can't sell anything. On the contrary. But he didn't stop there.
He continued by offending entire segments of the electorate. From syryk men, to autistic children, women with lovers, nude photos, etc., etc. These are blunders with electoral 'bleeding'.
A family that has an autistic member cannot help but feel offended. And the question he will ask himself when he goes to the box is very simple: Will I vote for this person who insults and mocks me or will I vote for the opponent whose wife has a life that is voluntarily dedicated to autistic children?
A man when he goes to the ballot box will ask the same question. Will I vote for the one who calls me a scoundrel or for another who does not offend me?
In a semi-normal country, a leader who would have made half of these gaffes in the campaign would have been finished with the elections and his career. But in Albania there is a different reality.
Now the question arises why is Rama doing this? Because this is not Rama normally.
There are two things. Either he is convinced of the victory and the large margin of difference he has with his opponent and says whatever I do, the victory is mine, or he is mistaken because he is under pressure because his numbers are not coming out well.
I do not know which of these it is and I am very curious to know. But what I do know is something else. If Rama is making gaffes, the Democratic Party is running its best campaign it has ever run. Sali Berisha is doing even better than in 2005.
If you notice, the DP campaign has no quarrels, no clashes, no insults. But there is only one thing. Pension 200 euros, salary 1200 euros, living minimum 200 euros, farmer so subsidized.
This is the message that Sali Berisha says every day. This is the only case when repeating the same things every day does not make you annoying, but gives you points.
What is also impressing me is the fact that the opposition is not falling into the trap of provocations that Rama is making. No attempt to have coffee with Vrenoz, no taking some of these Ilir Metas and bringing them out like shoe soles to campaign for him, no Zegjinets that you find all over Albania. Not at all.
The opposition does, it has only one focus. Pension, salary, farmer, hospitals. And this seems to be the hand of La Civita.
Will this strategy be enough for the opposition to get a good result in the elections? We will see about this, but it is the best way. If not the only way.
