Why do idiots dream that the US will attack Albania like Venezuela?
The difference between Venezuela and Albania is clear: •...

The enthusiastic reactions of a part of the Albanian opposition opinion after international developments, compared to the Maduro case, are being accompanied by hasty interpretations and unrealistic expectations for Albanian domestic politics.
Referring to these, Ardi Stefa emphasizes that first of all Albanians should remember that the leader of the opposition in Albania remains declared Non Grata by the United States of America, a fact that continues to weigh heavily on his relations with the West. Albania, on the other hand, is a NATO member country and has never opposed short-term, medium-term or long-term American interests.
Despite the numerous scandals attributed to the Albanian government, official Tirana continues to cooperate closely with the US and the European Union, maintaining a clear line of strategic conviction. Precisely for these reasons, Washington has historically shown that it often prefers political stability in allied countries, in the face of unpredictable adventures.
In this context, even if the figure of Prime Minister Rama, whom opponents ironically call "Ramaduro", is attacked, American support for an opposition that attacks the judiciary, SPAK and new institutions remains very difficult to imagine. Even more so when political alternatives are perceived as worn out and without international credibility.
The idea that Rama's departure would automatically bring a quality replacement to power is seen by Ardi Stefa as another "political fairy tale", used more to keep militants charged than to reflect reality.
However, Stefa draws two conclusions from the current situation. First, autocrats around the world have reason to reflect, as the US has shown that it remains a dominant and determined power when its strategic interests are affected. Second, the idea is being reinforced in Albanian public discourse that the current opposition is unable to overthrow the government on its own and that hopes for foreign intervention remain more of a political fantasy.
The rhetoric of some "sovereignists" who dream of spectacular scenarios with American intervention in Albanian domestic politics, according to Stefa, demonstrates a deep misunderstanding of how international interests function, serving mainly domestic consumption and the mobilization of an already tired militant base.
Ardi Stefa's analysis
Do the Albanian theologians who are celebrating Maduro's capture today know that the leader of the opposition in Albania is still Non Grata?
Do they know that Albania is a member of NATO?
Do they know that Albania has never gone against American short-term, medium-term, or long-term interests?
Do they know that the Albanian government, no matter how many scandals weigh on its shoulders, cooperates closely with the United States of America and the EU and is obedient to them?
Do you know that for these reasons and many others, America often prefers stability?
Do they know that even if "Ramaduro" is hit, this opposition, with this mentality and behavior, especially towards Justice and SPAK, will hardly be supported by the US?
Do they know that "Ramaduron" and his people will not replace the porters?
Or was the next tale found to keep the militants charged in the chatterboxes?
But I agree with two things:
1- Autocrats should put their finger on their head, as a new era of US hegemony has begun! The US has shown that it is powerful and will stop at nothing, especially when its interests are violated.
2- We often say in conversations that only foreigners can overthrow Rama from power, since Berisha's party cannot overthrow him. In our case, the Americans. But one thing is clear, Berisha's sovereignists who dream of landing American special forces in Surrel and catching the "sleeping" Rama in Washington by the throat, prove with their rhetoric that they are not interested in politics and their interests are only for internal consumption and to feed their fanatical militants with empty spoons who have spent their whole lives "warming in the sun"./ CNA
