New study/ Discovers the lifespan of cats, which breed lives the least?

Researchers from the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom and the National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan have published a study that highlights the average lifespan of cats based on their breeds, CNN writes .

According to this study, the hairless Sphynx has an average lifespan of just 6.8 years, making it the shortest lifespan of all cat breeds.

This may be due to their predisposition to certain diseases. On the other hand, the "Burmese" and "Burmese" breeds show longer lifespans, with an average of 14.4 years.

The team studied clinical records of cats in the UK and came up with "life tables", which can help owners and vets make the right decisions about their cats' welfare.
