New study/ Here's how you can get rid of anger

A recent study done in Japan found that writing down how you feel on a piece of paper, expressing negative thoughts, and then throwing away or tearing up the paper helps to release anger.

"The study shows that destroying the paper containing thoughts due to a provoking event neutralizes anger, while keeping the paper does not," write study authors Yuta Kanaya and Nobuyuki Kawai.

The study done in Japan has found that the way the disposal of objects is interpreted has a big impact on anger and stress.

Participants in the study were asked to write down opinions on an important social problem and were then graded on their answers.
