Mother Teresa is deeply remembered with her statement: "I was born in Skopje, I was educated in London, I live in Calcutta and I work for all the poor people in the world. My homeland is a small country called Albania".

Mother Teresa always wore the white robe with blue stripes of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, which she herself founded in 1950. She was modest about her work, but at the same time she considered it necessary, calling it "a point of relief in an ocean of suffering", but according to her "if this point did not exist, it would be missing from the sea".
