Yesterday evening, the book "Difficult Poet Lasgush Poradeci" by author Luan Topçi was promoted in the city of Pogradec.

Dozens of lovers of literature, professors, readers, have come together in this promotion in the premises of the Mitrush Kuteli library.

In addition to several European countries, the promotion also took place in the birthplace of the author Topçiu, while the publication comes as a genuine study of the work of the great Lasgush Poradeci, as well as a reprint of his works.

For the author Luan Topçiu, this book comes as a long journey in the crowning of the third version, while it has included a multidimensional study of Lasgushi's work, not limited only to his biographical data.

"The book is a long way to crown the third version. It is a multidimensional study, I have not limited myself to biographical data, his work is more important yesterday, the poetic text more important than his life because at the end of the end remains special with the passage of generations. People will forget the details of the individual's life, as much as we know about Balzac today. I think it is a useful book for professors of literature, for students, for people who love the culture and literature of obviously those who love Lasgush Poradec and know his poetry", said Topçiu.

For the editor of the book, Andreas Dushi, this book is a new model on the study of literature as well as a new approach to Lasgushi's poetry. The data and facts related to the personality of the individual are left behind, while the focus in this book is precisely on Lasgushi's magnificent work.

"I had the good fortune to be the editor of the book and among the friends of Professor Luani who encouraged him to republish it after it had been missing for years. It is a coincidence for two reasons as it deals with a new approach to the poetry and work of Lasgushi and the second because it offers a a new model in the study of literature. A comprehensive study model that does not deal with the form and content of the poem itself. That text can be a book of comparative literature as well as a separate study on Albanian literature and on the case of Lasgushi as a whole. Lasgushi is always seen in the context of Albanian literature and in the context of European literature only as a poet avoiding all non-literary data or facts that can be related to his personality", he said.

Luan Topçiu has been making his academic contribution in Romania for 30 years, while earlier versions of this book were also promoted in this country. Among other things, the author is also a Romanian translator of some of Lasgush Poradec's works./ CNA
