The westernmost point of Albania, Cape Gjuhëza, is one of the wonders of Albanian nature.

It is located at the northwest end of Karaburun and is about 1.1 kilometers long.

This cape has the shape of a tongue and because of its shape it is called the Cape of the Tongue.

The waves crash into the 30 to 40 meter high steep cliffs, which drop directly into the Ionian Sea.

The cape consists of limestone rocks, eroded by karst.

In the highest part of this massif there are three peaks, that of Kora with a height of 826 meters, Dafina 732 meters and Ilqe 687 meters above sea level.

The western part is rocky and vertically fragmented, with caves, cracks, bays and small beaches.

Also here are the small beach of Dafina, the coast of Bitri and the cave of Panaia.
