On the screen of the Summer Cinema of the General Directorate of Archives (DPA), one of the iconic films of Albanian cinematography, "The Little Partisan Velo", was shown for the first time in maximum picture quality.

In the presence of the General Director of Archives, Mr. Ardit Bido, the Director of the Central State Film Archive (AQSHF), Mrs. Marinela Ndria, dozens of students, pupils, veterans and representatives of the Association of Martyrs of the Fatherland, the DPA screened the next film that recounts the efforts of Albanians to liberate the country from the Nazi fascist invaders. In this activity, one of the protagonist actors of the film, Mr. Eduart Çala, took part, who in his speech of the occasion, evaluated this initiative as important in the field of local culture.

"The Little Partisan Velo" by the director Xhanfise Keko in 1980 is the fourth cinematographic production to be broadcast at the Summer Cinema near the DPA, as part of the repertoire of films selected to be shown in the framework of the 80th National Year of Liberation. On the occasion of this jubilee anniversary, the DPA has expressed its commitment to encourage young people to know Albania's historical past through a busy artistic season.

In the wake of this initiative, which enjoys the cooperation of the Central State Film Archive (AQSHF), other film productions will be shown in the Summer Cinema of DPA, as a reminder of the struggle of the first for freedom.
