Rekordi botëror i ndërtimit të objekteve të artit me

YouTube star Lily Hevesh has been wowing viewers with her domino creations for 15 years. Last weekend, at the National Building Museum in Washington, she completed her most ambitious project yet: the demolition of an art scene created with 100,000 dominoes. As Voice of America correspondent Maxim Adams reports, with this work she broke the world record.

This bright work built with over 100,000 dominoes collapsed in eight minutes, but it took more than 10 days to build.

This art project was exhibited at the National Building Museum in Washington by Lily Hevesh, a famous American artist who creates objects with dominoes. She creates complex objects and then collapses them with the flick of a finger.

"We built objects like pillars, a big wall with the picture of the Mona Lisa, a giant spiral in the center that will rotate and many other interesting types of movements and effects," she says.

She has also set a world record for building the tallest domino structure, a 10-meter-tall tower.

"We used two scaffolds to build the tower, which took two days to complete. The top of the tower wobbled a bit, but luckily we managed to keep it upright and set a world record," she says.

Lily Hevesh was assisted by an international team of nine domino art masters. One of them is 24-year-old Alex Huang, who started practicing this art when he was 12 years old.

"It's really exciting to build dominoes at the National Building Museum. Lily has been telling us all week that we need to scale up our projects. It's such a big hall. There will be thousands of people here. Lily knows how put on good shows," he says.

In her work, 25-year-old Lily Hevesh combines physics, mathematics, engineering and art. Her passion began in childhood.

"My grandparents had a regular dotted domino, and when I was nine years old, I started lining up the tiles and knocking them down for fun. Over time, this led me to YouTube, where I found many people creating amazing structures with dominoes," she says.

On her YouTube channel "Hevesh5", she has more than 4 million followers and has attracted over 1.8 billion hits.

The president of the National Building Museum, Aileen Fuchs, says she decided to invite the artist Lily Hevesh on the advice of her children, who are big admirers of the domino game.

"We're all about building a better world and inspiring people to think about the built environments around them. Curiosity. So when you build with dominoes, you use creativity, innovation, science, math and art," she says.

In addition to creating impressive structures, Lily Hevesh also offers courses for children.

"We love the game of dominoes. We build with dominoes as a family. We are so excited to be here to watch them fall down tonight," says Sarah, an admirer of domino art.

"We are avid followers of the Hevesh5 Domino community," says Katie, another admirer of domino art.

The program also included a screening of the documentary film "Lily Ripples the World," which explains the challenges of female artists in the male-dominated art of building with dominoes.
