The festival "Bilbilat e Labërija"/ The first night is organized in Bënçë of Tepelena

On Tuesday evening, the first edition of the folklore festival "Bilbilat e Labërija" was opened.

The festival was held under the arches of the monumental bridge of Benca, built by Ali Pasha Tepelena.

The most vocal artists of this current performed at the festival, who skillfully conveyed this hundred-year-old tradition.

For nearly 20 years, the polyphonic song has been included in the list of "Masterpieces of the Heritage of Humanity", protected by UNESCO.

Labe polyphony is really the super value of Albanian musical folklore, but also of the world folklore tradition in general.

The building structure of the multi-voice Labe polyphony is an unprecedented and direct expression of the genetic unity of the species. Polyphony with 4 voices is found only in Lab folklore. /CNA
