Massive fire in Korça/ The elderly man is taken out of the apartment, other houses are at risk

A large fire engulfed a residence in neighborhood no. 11 in Korça.

It is learned that the fire brigade was able to get an elderly person out of the apartment, which was engulfed in flames.

According to what is reported, the fire is endangering other apartments as well.

Work is underway at the scene to extinguish the flames.

" On 22.09.2023, at around 10:45 a.m., in district No. 11, Korçë, a fire broke out in the apartment of citizen Dh. S., where according to preliminary data, no one was injured, but only material damage.

Fire services are on the scene to put out the fire.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances and determine the causes of the fire," the police announced./ CNA
