The Prosecutor's Office of Vlora has demanded the guilty declaration of former police officer Arjan Tase and the sentence of 15 years in prison.

Tase is charged with the criminal offense of 'Deliberate murder', after hitting the 7-year-old JA with a speedboat on the beach of Potami in Himare.

This event happened on August 2, 2022. Arjan Tase was a police officer, where his last job was that of Community Police Commissioner in the city of Elbasan.

After this event within a few hours Tase was fired by the General Director of Police Gladis Nano. For the ex-policeman, there was a debate about the charge brought.

However, the prosecution announces that it is fully convinced that Arjan Tase has committed the criminal offense of 'Murder with intent', despite the claims of the defense, regarding the qualification of the criminal fact as 'Murder by negligence'.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlorë, based on Article 378 of the Penal Code, has presented the final conclusions regarding the criminal proceedings no. 918 of 2022 with the defendant, the AT citizen accused of the criminal offense Intentional murder' provided by Article 76 of the Criminal Code.

This prosecution requests the guilty declaration of the defendant AT, and his sentence of 15 years in prison for the criminal offense of 'Deliberate murder'.

In the final conclusions, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Vlorë, declares that it is proven that on the day of the event, on 02.08.2022, it turns out that the defendant AT was driving a boat with two engines and after leaving several people on the seashore, at the moment it started to leave the area where the citizen BA was swimming with his daughter JA, the vehicle gained a lot of speed going in their direction and when taking the turn, its engines caught the minor girl cutting her all over the body. Minor JA died instantly.

In relation to the defendant AT, from the analysis of the acts administered during the investigation, the examination of the scene of the incident, of the film footage, it is proven that he has consumed the elements of the criminal offense of "Intentional murder" provided for by Article 76 of the Criminal Code in the form of indirect intention.

The prosecution body is fully convinced that the defendant AT has consumed the elements of the criminal offense 'Murder with intent', despite the claims of the defense, regarding the qualification of the criminal fact as 'Murder by negligence'./ CNA
