Murder in Elbasan/ Police: Businessman known with 2 identities, vehicle was parked

Police have shared preliminary information regarding the assassination attempt carried out this evening in Elbasan.

According to the police, at around 20:35, a report was received that in the "Emin Matraxhiu" neighborhood, inside a parked vehicle, citizen MM alias EH, 43 years old, was found shot to death.

Police services immediately went to the scene and checkpoints were set up at the exit of the city, and checks are continuing in the area and in various locations, to catch the perpetrator(s).

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and capture the perpetrator(s). /CNA
