A 29-year-old man has been arrested in Laç, accused of raping his father. The citizen R. Gj., who has previously been convicted of domestic violence, has been arrested.

According to police information, the 29-year-old, after raping his father, left the apartment and hid in Lezha. During the search of the apartment where this citizen was hiding, in the village of Zejmen in Lezha, the police found and seized 105 grams of cannabis as material evidence.

Kurbin/Lezha – The police operation codenamed "Violent" is finalized.

He raped his father and left the apartment; the 29-year-old, previously convicted of domestic violence, is arrested and put in handcuffs.

A quantity of 105 grams of cannabis was found in the 29-year-old's apartment.

The services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, after receiving a report of a case of domestic violence in the city of Laç, immediately went to the given address and initiated the first investigative actions.

The first investigative actions resulted in the citizen R. Gj., 29 years old, having exercised physical violence against his father, K. Gj., 66 years old, and having left the apartment.

Given the violent actions and the danger posed by this citizen, the assistance of the National Security Force was requested to capture him.

Based on the information obtained operationally, the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the National Security Forces, Tirana Unit, after several hours of uninterrupted searches, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Violent", located, captured and handcuffed citizen R. Gj., 29 years old, resident of Laç, Kurbin, previously convicted of domestic violence.

During the search of the apartment where this citizen was hiding, in Zejme, Lezha, the Police services found and seized as material evidence a quantity of narcotics, suspected to be cannabis, approximately 105 grams.

The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
