3 serious criminal events shocked Albanians during 2023. One happened in Tirana and Kamëz, one in Italy and one in Kosovo.

In Tirana and Kamëz, Dan Hutra , described as the serial killer of women, executed 3 women and injured 3 others.

In Italy, Alfred Vefa killed his ex-wife with a gun and then himself, reports CNA.

While the most recent event is that of Liridona Ademajt in Kosovo, who was executed by order of her husband Naim Murseli , after they had dinner with their minor children.

CNA is bringing a reminder of 3 massacres that left a bitter taste for Albanians in 2023.

The massacre of Dan Hutra

The capital was shocked on Wednesday, March 1 by the crimes of 40-year-old Dan Hutra, a former convict, who killed 3 women and injured three others, in three different areas of Tirana.

Initially, in a black "Benz" type vehicle, he went to Astir with a Kalashnikov and a knife inside the car. Dan Hutra stabbed his ex-girlfriend, 40-year-old initials MG, and forcibly took a sum of money from her.

Afterwards, he went to the apartment of his former co-habitant in Kodër-Kamëz and wounded his former co-habitant Elena Hysa and her mother Kujtime Hysa with firearms.

Also, he killed with a gun the sister of the former cohabitant Mevlute Hysa and her sister-in-law Hasime Dafku.

The 40-year-old was not satisfied with that, but went to Bathore and also killed 31-year-old Etleva Kurti, CNA reports.

The latter was the sister of Vladimir Kurti, a person with whom Dan Hutra had had a fierce argument while they were both serving their sentence in the same prison.

The callous perpetrator was arrested a few hours later and expressed no remorse for the murders, even revealing that he planned to execute a fourth person, a man in Vaqarr who blamed him for the loss of his father's life.

Dan Hutra has a rich criminal record that includes various criminal offenses for rape, hostage-taking, murder, 2 sensational escape attempts, fights in prison, theft, a total of 20 years of criminal history.

The Albanian kills his ex-wife in Greece

On the evening of September 28, 35-year-old Albanian Klodiana Vefa was executed with a bullet in the head in Castelfiorentino, Italy, a few steps away from Florence.

The crime committed by her ex-husband, Alfred Vefa. He ambushed the 36-year-old woman in the middle of the road, as she was returning from work, reports CNA.

After they argued verbally, Alfred Vefa shot Klodiana with a gun, leaving her dead.

The author left the scene and two days later was found to have committed suicide in the car with the gun that executed his ex-wife.

Klodiana Vefa worked as a waitress in a restaurant near the place where she was killed.

The couple had two children, a 17-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter. They had divorced in Albania several years before, although the divorce had not yet been registered in Italy due to bureaucratic problems.

In Castelfiorentino, although separated, they lived together, in the same house.

Even today, the cause of this crime has not yet been officially clarified, although it is thought that Alfred Vefa was jealous because his ex-wife had started a new relationship.

Klodiana's family members have stated to the media that they were not aware of the divorce and moreover of the victim's new relationship.

The murder of Liridona Ademaj

On the evening of November 29, Albanian lands were shocked by the murder of Liridona Museli, the wife of the former councilor of Behgjet Pacolli, Naim Murseli.

The organizer of the young woman's murder is suspected to have been her husband, Naim Murseli, while the executor was Granit Plava, his fellow villager, reports CNA.

The incident happened a few minutes after the victim and her husband, together with their two minor children, had dinner in a restaurant.

Granit Plava dined at the same restaurant with them and ambushed the Murseli family when they were returning home, pretending to be robbers.

According to the dynamics of the event, Naim Murseli took the children and left, leaving behind Liridona with Granit Plava. The latter shot a gun, killed Liridona and left the scene.

Meanwhile, the husband tried to cover his tracks and sold the incident as an accidental murder during a robbery.

But his suspicious actions led the police to uncover the truth. He was arrested together with Plava.

The executor stated that Naim Murseli had promised him 30,000 euros to kill Liridona, 15,000 euros of which he had received before committing the murder and another 15,000 he would receive afterwards.

Naim Murseli first accepted everything and then denied it, giving several versions of the event.

Kushtrim Kokalla, a member of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as Tomë Dodaj, the person who allegedly gave the gun to the executioner, are also in prison for this event.

So far, the reason why Naim Murseli ordered the murder of his wife has not been revealed. One of the tracks is the life insurance that Liridona Ademaj had in a Swedish company./ CNA
