The fire in Dropull municipality is brought under control, the action continues in Kakodhiq village of Delvina

Under the coordination of the National Agency of Civil Protection, Civil Emergencies have made it possible to extinguish the fire in the municipality of Dropull, where the situation continues to be monitored to avoid any possibility of reactivation.

The Ministry of Defense announced on Friday afternoon that in the village of Kakodhiq in the municipality of Delvina, the action is continuing with the forces of the municipality, the Armed Forces, additional firefighting forces from Berat, but also two PZL planes from Greece, to extinguish the flames.

The operation also continues near the lakes of Lura in Dibër.

"Thanks to all the effectives engaged as well as the Greek authorities who are assisting with the two PZL type planes in extinguishing the flames in the village of Kakodhiq!

We repeat the call for increased caution during these days with high temperatures, in order to avoid events that damage the environment and our common wealth", the announcement of the Ministry of Defense states./CNA
