Sentenced to life imprisonment, GJKKO seizes Aurel Hoxallari's assets

GJKKO has confiscated the assets of Aurel Hoxallari, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Devi Kasmi.

Devi Kasmi was executed in Tirana, by two people on a motorcycle, who shot at the 41-year-old.

GJKKO has seized land and apartments of Hoxallari.

Announcement of GJKKO:

Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime on 29.04.2021 No. Reg. I say. 12/44/151, submitted to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime the criminal request with object: Confiscation of the assets owned by the Entity Aurel (alias Altin) Hoxallari and the persons related to him.

At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with a panel composed of judge Eva Deda, based on articles based on articles 16, 23 and 24 of normative act no. 1, dated 31.01.2020 "On preventive measures in the framework of strengthening the fight against terrorism, organized crime, serious crimes and the consolidation of public security order", with decision No. 12, dated 10.07.2024, decided:

• Confiscation of assets seized by Decision no. 156, dated 30.11.2020, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, as follows:

1. Property property with an area of ????30 m2, with address: "Aleksandri i Madh" street, Yzberisht, Unaza e Re, Kashar Administrative Unit, Tirana, part of the 1 (one) floor building for which citizens have applied to legalize Aurel Hoxallari and Elton Hoxallari, with no. Prot. *** of 2009.

2. Property property with an area of ????20 m2, with address: "Teodor Keko" street, Unaza e Re, Tirana, part of the 1 (one) floor building for which the citizens Aurel Hoxallari and Elton Hoxallari have applied for legalization , with no. Prot. *** of 2009 (accompanied by the relevant photographs).

3. Property with no. ***, dated 21.04.2016, in the name of citizen Kimete Hoxallari (regarding the 3 (three) storey apartment in Yzberisht).

4. The property in the process of legalization with no. ***, dated 27.01.2015, in the name of the citizen Nezhdet Hoxallari (regarding the apartment and warehouse in Kodër - Mëzez). • Transfer of confiscated assets to the state.

The revocation/removal of the sequestration measure imposed by Decision no. 156, dated 30.11.2020, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, on assets:

1. Property with no. ***, cadastral area ***, volume **, page **, property type "Area", with a total area of ????300 m2, located in Yzberisht, owned by citizen Aurel Hoxallari. This property was purchased according to the sales contract no. *** Rep. and *** Col., dated 24.07.2007.

Property with no. ***, cadastral area ***, volume. **, page ***, property type "Area", with a total area of ????400 m2, located in Yzberisht, owned by the citizen Aurel Hoxallari, referred to the sales contract no. *** Rep.
