Terrible accident/ The 8-year-old girl died, she was hit by a car in Lalëz

The 8-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Gjiri i Lalzi, on Friday evening, has died. It is learned that the little girl who was the victim of the accident is from Slovakia. While the driver who caused the accident is an 18-year-old young man.

Durrës/Preliminary information

Around 20:00, in the road segment Maminas-Gjiri i Lalësit, a vehicle driven by citizen G. Gj., 18 years old, hit a minor SS citizen, 8 years old, from Slovakia. As a result of the collision, the 8-year-old girl lost her life in the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further procedural actions.

The investigative group is at the scene and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances and the cause of the accident," the police announced./CNA
