Elbasan police have arrested 2 people AM, 31 years old and FB, 44 years old. 

The 31-year-old man was caught with 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 pistol firearm and military ammunition, which he is suspected of trafficking.

While FB, 44 years old, 3 knives and a quantity of cocaine were found in his apartment and car.

Police Notification:

Elbasan/Consecutive operations are taking place in implementation of the "Rule of Law" operational plan, to combat criminal activities.

The police of Elbasan finalized within 12 hours, 2 police operations followed by proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office.

-Operation "First" resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old man who possessed for the purpose of trafficking, 1 Kalashnikov, 1 pistol and military ammunition.

- Operation coded "Second" resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old man who possessed 3 cold weapons (knives) and a quantity of the narcotic substance cocaine.

As a result of 2 investigations with proactive methods, carried out on the basis of information from police intelligence, and followed in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, the Section for the Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Traffic finalized within 12 hours, 2 police operations.

-As part of the police operation coded "First", citizen AM, 31 years old, resident of Elbasan, was arrested in the act, as he possessed in his apartment, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 pistol firearm and military ammunition, which are suspected to be trafficked them;

-As part of the police operation coded "Second", citizen FB, 44 years old, resident in Elbasan, was arrested in the act, as during the search of his vehicle and his apartment, the Police found and confiscated 3 knives and a quantity of cocaine.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
