The police of Elbasan arrested a 28-year-old man with the initials GL, who was caught with firearms and military ammunition. 

The police have seized 1 pistol firearm, 1000 combat cartridges of different calibers, 4 weapon combs, 2 detonator capsules, 1 bulletproof vest, a quantity of cannabis sativa narcotic and 1 vehicle.

Police Notification: 

The coded police operation "Calibri" is finalized as a result of a quarterly investigation, with proactive methods.

1 pistol firearm, 1000 combat cartridges of various calibers, 4 gun combs, 2 detonator capsules, 1 bulletproof vest, a quantity of cannabis sativa narcotic and 1 vehicle were seized.

The 28-year-old man who was carrying a firearm with him and who was carrying other seized items, in the apartment, was arrested in the act, suspected for the purpose of trafficking.

As a result of an investigation carried out with proactive methods, for 3 months, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction, an investigation which was initiated on the basis of information from the police intelligence, provided following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, the Narcotics and Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of DVP Elbasan finalized the coded police operation "Calibre".

During this operation, a citizen of GL, 28 years old, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.

In the vehicle, the police services found this citizen, 1 pistol firearm, while in the apartment they found 1000 combat cartridges of different calibers, 4 gun combs, 2 detonator capsules, 1 bulletproof vest and a quantity of cannabis sativa narcotic. From the investigations so far, it is suspected that this citizen possessed these items, for the purpose of trafficking.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance, of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics"./ CNA
