The police of Korça have clarified the details of the serious incident.
Initially, it was reported that after a fire on the balcony of her apartment, the SK woman had jumped from the 4th floor of the building.
The police say that this event was not accidental. The Blues suspect that the 49-year-old woman was doused with fuel, set herself on fire and then jumped from the balcony.
She is currently in the hospital and is in a serious condition.
"Today on 04.07.2024 around 2:30 p.m., in district no. 10, Korçë, SK citizen, about 49 years old, is suspected to have doused herself with fuel, set herself on fire and then jumped from the balcony. As a result, this citizen received burns and bodily injuries and is being treated in the hospital.
The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event," the police announcement states./ CNA
