Poisoning in Bulqiza/ 23 people are in the hospital, the Prosecutor's Office starts investigations

More than 20 people showed up at the Bulqiza hospital on Friday to receive medical help, after showing signs of poisoning. The first suspicions are that they have been poisoned by the drinking water, which is why the analysis of the drinking water has started, but other tracks are not excluded either. However, they are not cases of a neighborhood or village, but are scattered and the situation is being verified to find the cause.

Upon receiving the notification, an investigative team was set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigations have begun to clarify the circumstances and determine the cause of the poisoning, the police of Dibra informs today.

The Bulqizë Police Station has received notification that some residents of the Bulqizë municipality had presented themselves to the hospital for medical assistance with symptoms of poisoning.
