The police seized 40 kilograms and 200 grams of cannabis in Lezha, meanwhile 3 people were arrested, EM, 32 years old, DS, 36 years old and AD, 37 years old.

According to the blue uniforms, 3 persons were caught in the act, in the village of Gocaj, transporting the narcotics by vehicle, in the direction of Tirana, with the aim of selling them in doses.

The investigation revealed that the drugs were being transported from a rented car.

Police Notification:

40 kilograms and 200 grams of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa were seized. 3 citizens who were caught in the act, in the village of Gocaj, while transporting the narcotic in a vehicle, in the direction of Tirana, with the intention of selling it in doses, are put in handcuffs.

All three arrested, with previous criminal record in the field of narcotics and in the field of theft.
Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Lezhë, following the continuous attacks on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, for a case of transporting a quantity of narcotics towards Tirana, with the aim of selling in doses, have organized the work within the coded police mega-operation "Tempulli", for documenting the case and arresting the perpetrators.
During the operation, on the road axis "Shkodër - Tirana", in the village of Gocaj, the Police services stopped the "Renault" type vehicle, which was suspected of transporting narcotics. During the search of this vehicle, the Police services found 3 more bags of suspected cannabis sativa narcotics, with a total weight of 40 kilograms and 200 grams.
Following the procedural actions for this case, the citizens were arrested red-handed for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in cooperation: EM, 32 years old, resident in Tirana (driver);
DS, 36 years old and AD, 37 years old, both residents of Tirana (passengers in the vehicle). From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the narcotic substance that was found in the vehicle rented by the EM citizen, was being transported towards Tirana, with the purpose of selling it in doses.
The amount of narcotics was seized as material evidence, together with the vehicle and 4 mobile phones.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further procedural actions./ CNA
