They cheated foreigners with call centers/ Security measures are set for the 8 arrested

The court of Gjirokastra has set security measures for 8 citizens this Sunday, arrested for defrauding foreigners for investing in fictitious stock exchanges through call centers.

The "prison arrest" measure has been set for two people, citizens EP and AH

The other 6 arrested with the initials ES, MS, EH, SB, FH and EM were left under "house arrest".

These people were arrested on November 8 thanks to the police operation codenamed "World Clock".

They tricked citizens from several continents, mostly at night, into investing in fictitious markets.

The 8 arrested are co-owners and workers in the 2 call center entities, who are suspected of laundering the income obtained from fraud, through their businesses and those of their relatives./ CNA
