The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has seized the assets of the Albanian couple arrested with over 580 kilograms of cocaine in Greece.                                                      

The Albanian couple with initials A. Xh. and L. Xh., residing in Fier, are accused of the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity".

They were arrested in Greece for the seized amount of 585 kilograms and 208 grams of cocaine. The Albanian couple is suspected of having laundered the proceeds from this criminal activity in our country.

Specifically, the following were seized:

- Real estate no. 24/198, vol. 30, p. 230, "plot" type with an area of ??300 m2 and a building area of ??110.70 m2, located in Vlora;

- Monetary amount 40,000 Euros; AND

- "Volkswagen" brand vehicle, "Golf" model, year of production 2010.

Meanwhile, investigations into this criminal case are still ongoing./ CNA
